Previewing is free; purchase and cancellation terms are shown before checkout. Domain registration, printing and paid third-party services are extra. Review requests are sent by you; automated messaging and ongoing review or profile management are not included. Google controls eligibility and verification. Who is Townbright?
Townbright is a Manitoba-based website company operated by Keith and Carter Bilous. We build modern websites for established businesses in rural Canadian communities. When you purchase a prepared website, you are supported by real people—not handed an anonymous template. Questions and support requests go directly to hello@townbright.ca.
Do I pay before you build my website?
No. You see your completed website preview first. If you choose to buy it, our launch offer is $999 CAD for our first 100 customers, available during the seven-day window on your personal preview (regular price $1,495), including 12 months of basic hosting and factual corrections for 30 days after launch. There is no required monthly subscription. Your personal preview includes the purchase details.
What is still needed after I buy?
One short activation form: confirm business facts and your contact details, choose your domain, and provide the necessary permissions securely. We include one consolidated correction round. Forms, bookings, domain connection and Google account setup are activated with your authorisation; preview features are labelled until connected. New features or a different design are separately scoped.
What happens if I don’t want it?
You owe nothing for viewing the preview. We withdraw our preview if you decline. We never remove or change your existing website, domain or Google profile without your permission.
How does this help with AI discovery?
A fast, accessible website with clear service information, useful answers, accurate business details, and appropriate structured data. These are practical search foundations, not a special switch that guarantees AI citations.
Does my website keep improving after launch?
Yes. During your included first year of hosting, Townbright rolls out shared technical improvements that help our platform stay compatible with changes in search, AI discovery, performance, accessibility and security. This does not include unlimited business-specific content, new pages, campaigns or redesigns; those are quoted separately or handled through optional care.
Will you get me more Google reviews?
We give you a practical way to ask real customers: a direct link, QR card and ready-to-send messages. You choose when to send them to eligible customers. Reviews remain voluntary and honest—no bought reviews, rewards, or filtering out unhappy customers. We cannot promise a number of reviews or a star rating.
What if I already have a Google Business Profile?
We review and refresh one existing, eligible location with your permission. You remain the owner. If you need a new profile, we help prepare and claim it, but Google decides eligibility and may require you to complete verification. Suspensions, disputes and multi-location management are separately scoped.
Do I need to understand any of the technology?
No. We need your business knowledge and approval of the facts. We handle the website setup and explain decisions in plain language.
Can you replace my existing website?
Yes. We review the current site, preserve important content and URLs where practical, and plan redirects before launch. You keep your existing domain if you want to.
Do I own my website and domain?
Your domain should be registered in your name. Once your build invoice is paid, you own the custom website content and code we create for you, subject to any third-party licences. We can provide an export if you leave.
Do I have to pay $99 every month?
No. Care is optional. Your website purchase includes 12 months of basic hosting and 30 days of factual corrections. Later changes can be quoted individually. You only pay for monthly care if you choose it separately.
What happens after the first year?
Basic hosting is $199 CAD per year plus applicable taxes, renewed only with your agreement. It keeps the website online; content changes are separate. You can renew, choose optional care or request your website export and move to another host. We contact you before the included hosting period ends; there is no automatic enrolment.
What’s included in optional care?
For $99 CAD/month plus applicable taxes: hosting, routine technical maintenance and one small content update of up to 30 minutes each month. No separate annual hosting fee while care is active. New pages, redesigns, paid third-party services and unused time carried forward are excluded. Cancel before your next renewal. Any remaining included or prepaid basic hosting continues to its original end date. We do not automatically enrol you in annual hosting when care ends. No retroactive credit is issued for an already-started hosting year if you later add care.
Can I subscribe to Townbright Local Presence now?
Not yet. We are collecting interest while we prove the complete account-connection, approval, publishing, reporting and cancellation workflow with a small pilot. Joining the interest list does not start a subscription or collect payment. See the proposed scope.
Will you guarantee that AI recommends me?
No. Search engines decide what they include. We improve the foundations and help track available search and enquiry signals. We will never invent citations or sell a guaranteed ranking.
